COLE METCALF

Cole Metcalf is an emerging product designer, fashion designer, and artist specializing, in UX and web design as well as fashion, style, and wearable art.

Metcalf specializes in design software such as Figma, Adobe Suit, and CAD software. In his UX design work, he explores themes of minimalism, efficiency, and clarity. He is advanced with his sewing machine and the process of garment making and explores themes of queerness, identity, and worldly aesthetics within his fashion work.

He will graduate in December 2024 from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Media production and a minor in Creative technology and design. After completing an internship in the Product Design department assisting the Ux and Marketing departments at Framen, headquartered in Berlin, he currently works at the CINC lab at CU Boulder as a Lab technician specializing in woodworking, laser cutting, and 3d printing.

Cole grew up in Los Altos California, in the heart of the Bay Area and Silicon Valley learning the piano, painting, and building 3d models and dioramas.

In his free time, he designs and sews his fashion and clothing and has sold and advertised these designs and ideas on social media.
